With three months access per tutorial and approximately an hour of instruction for each piece, you’ll have all your questions answered while being able to learn from one of Western Australia’s greatest.

Each wood turning tutorial is structured as a three-month subscription. Cancel any time before the three-month period ends, or continue if you need extra time to access the content.

Turning Tutorials with Neil Turner
In this one-hour video tutorial you'll learn to turn a sea urchin shaped box with applied texture; coral-like embellishments using delicate carving and surface techniques.
During this tutorial you will learn to carve a wooden spoon using an air tool fitted with a saburr tooth bur.
In this one-hour video tutorial you'll learn to turn a bowl from tree and root burl, retaining the natural edge on the rim of the bowl.
Learn to turn a perfect wooden sphere and apply six distinct embellishment techniques. This skill-packed tutorial demonstrates precision turning followed by a curated set of surface treatments — fine cuts, texture work, pyrography, and other decorative finishes — each explained step by step. You will learn what each burr will create and what the combination of burs will create.
In our one hour courses you’ll gain clear, usable skills and fresh inspiration to elevate your own pieces. They are ideal as a focused masterclass, easy to watch along as you work on your own pieces, or use as a reference to return to when experimenting with finer detailed textures and embellishments on curved forms.
We break each project into simple, manageable steps so you never feel overwhelmed. As you work through the lessons, you’ll build practical skills and confidence—one clear, steady step at a time.

We offer each Turning Tutorial as an individual course, (unless you sign up for a year long all inclusive membership in which case you get access to all the courses).
Each course is sold as a three-month subscription, so if you complete the course and do not want to pay for another three-months you will need to cancel your subscription to avoid being charged again.

With around 1 hour worth of video content per tutorial we discuss design, timber selection, difference between micro motors and dremels, tool selection, grinding angles, burr selection, embellishment techniques, sanding & finishing.

When you purchase any of our Tutorials or the Full Access option, you'll create an account. From your account, you'll be able to access any of the Tutorials that you've purchased, manage your personal information, and more.
